Microsoft Windows: How to's & Tweaks
Access Flickr from desktop using FlickRoom
FlickRoom is an adobe air based desktop application that let’s you browse flickr from your desktop. Forget about using a browser to access your favorite photo-sharing site. Of course the only dependency is that you need Adobe AIR installed on your machine. Now because adobe air is almost platform independent you can use it on your Linux, Mac or Windows machine.
You’ll have to authorize FlickRoom to authorize your account access in order to use it. You can check your photostream, upload your photos and also browse other people and their photos. It’s a good replacement to the web interface. However, there could be some features which are missing. It also has the feature to tweet your photos or other’s photos making it social media rich.
